The COMBO, as the nucleus of new musical ideas, has always been the most original and raw form of expression in the subcultural scene.
Rehearsals were carried out in small, narrow spaces, such as a storage room, barn or cellar. Instruments and equipment were cheap, old, borrowed or sometimes self-made.
The wild sessions often culminated in blurred-dull but distinctive demo recordings, which were then adventurously transferred to tape.
With a copied collage cover and a scribbled band logo, the band was now official.
If you were lucky, you would go on a mini-tour or be the opening act at a youth club in the neighboring town for gas money.
The first live experiences with beer moshing, insults and other provocations were a test by fire as to whether and for whom it should continue or not.
But the greatest moment and the most beautiful motivation, for which one is happy to accept any provocation, is when the crowd in front of the stage is singing along to your songs and the dance floor is boiling.
Wonderful girlie suitable for subcultural everyday life, ideal of course for the rehearsal room or to attract attention at boring band contests or city festivals.
