The new album "The Edge of Silence" includes beside an exclusive and extravagant cover version by KRAFTWERKs "the model" (… he is the model …), nine wonderful reinterpretations of the most beautiful DARK SHADOWS songs.

But the new versions are not just self-copied cover pieces, rather a perfect synthesis of Brigittes unique smoky and seductive vocals with acoustic guitar sound. The graceful melodies are aesthetically enhanced through atmospheric synthesizer and electronically generated soundscapes as well as soft bass channels and discreetly inserted percussion.

Brigitte Handley describes her music as "dark edged punk noir". It sounds mysterious and we can assume the depth and inscrutability into where the vampyric lady together with The Dark Shadows would like to carry us away. Brigitte Handley fronts The Dark Shadows on vocals and guitar, along with Carly Chalker on bass and Nerida Wu on drums. They are not only optically a distinctive and impressive ensemble, but they also create a unique and independent sound and style. The band based in Sydney formed itself in the middle of 2006. 

For the HALB-7-RECORDS compiled "Best Of" CD includes songs of all musical creative phases, all hits of course, as well as unpublished and rare material that had been not available in Europe up to now. A bonus and highlight will be the recently finished clip of "Dave Like Dolls". The sound concept works perfectly even in 2015, hence THEE FLANDERS are not coming alone but managed to inspire several famous musicians, celebrities and original artists for the project and invited them to play and sing with them.Above all, BELA B. from DIE ÄRTZE, BRIGITTE HANDLEY from DARK SHADOWS as well as TOM TOXIC from HOLSTEIN ROCKETS shall be mentioned.

The crowning finish is completed by the cream pie fan ACHIM MENTZEL. The Spreewald’s King of Rock n Roll received us in private audience, which lead to his major role in the video “Enjoy the Silence”. The video will be published parallel to the release date. 5th album of  Psychobillys from Hell or Potsdamned from year 2009. A real classic.

The magic title already spreads a promising prevailing mood and holds an almost holy reminiscent charm in itself. Neither the redeemer nor one of the other countless rescuers and saviors bring the desired purification, but The King, as Prince of Darkness will personally be the guide into a new era. With a total of 12 new own tracks and 2 cover songs the role players celebrate a demonic creation with magic hands, (or was it even the King?). Stylistically they are very agile once again and certainly not prudish. The songs are full of self-realization and seem to be more mature and grown-up than in former times. Energetic enthusiasm and resourceful arrangements combined with a multi-faceted and unique vocal style bundle a massive and wild force culminating in an absolutely diabolic enjoyment of listening – a textbook example of Psychobilly!!

With this new record Thee Flanders presents another milestone in their long-year band history. This time they don’t deal with monsters, mummies and mutations, but they are in the middle of the fight against their own demons. Who wins here remains to be seen …

Altogether there is a clear upward trend, and the title totally keeps its promise … a really diabolic circus of hell. A saint must have had a finger in the pie. Some things never change, as cover and layout are of the finest again. Great presentation: The Deluxe Edition is limited to 1000 copies and contains a bonus track as well as an embroidered patch for the imitation leather jacket. It will come as Digi-Pack including a 12-sided booklet.

It’s a real piece of art, beyond cowboy hats, religious knick-knacks, dices and burning-flames-inferno. All is personally designed by its boss Norman Winter.
